Profile Biography
I am an Ecuadorian-American first-generation college student. I am currently pursuing my Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering at Villanova University. I am deeply rooted in my Latino culture and tend to always express my passion for exposing young Latina girls to the field of computing. I have been working on more initiatives for providing girls in my hometown of Newark, New Jersey with a platform of exposure to comp sci. I am extremely proud to say that I am a co-founder of a summer web development program for middle-school girls in Newark called Culture Tech Cadets (CTC). In the near future, CTC will become a program to expose girls to other computing concentrations such as cybersecurity, robotics and more in-depth web development in areas such as Newark and Philadelphia!
