Profile Biography 
Siena Whiteside grew up near Oxford, UK, and graduated from Cambridge University with MA and MEng degrees in aerospace engineering. Siena was then selected for a two year engineering graduate program in the UK, gaining experience across industry and government. In 2018, Siena moved to NASA Langley Research Center where she performs design and analysis of novel aircraft concepts for Advanced Air Mobility. Siena started flying at 14 and is a private pilot and sailplane pilot. She has a love for everything outdoors, travel, sail racing, and aerial circus. Siena is passionate about improving diversity in science and engineering.
