Profile Biography
I have over 20 years of clinical drug development experience working at various pharmaceutical, medical device and biotechnology companies. After having lost my father to cancer in 2010, finding novel therapies to treat cancer and rare diseases has become my passion. I have worked on over 80 clinical trials around the world and in all areas of clinical trial operations and drug development. I'm hopeful that being a mentor and sharing my experience will help young women develop an interest in this important area as well as increase the number of women working in life sciences and the biotech industry in general. In my current job, I am Vice President of Clinical Operations at a life sciences consulting firm and responsible for leadership, strategic planning, and executive oversight of our global clinical operations team of 50+ clinical trial experts.
