Profile Biography
I am the Community Program Coordinator at the local non-profit organization Gallatin Valley Farm to School where I help to connect the community with local foods through educational programs. I recently attended Montana State University where I received her B.S. in Sustainable Food and Bioenergy Systems. I have experience in and a passion for being a science communicator in the realms of nutrition, agriculture, and systems thinking.

With Gallatin Valley Farm to School, I lead summer camps for pre-k to middle school students in a community garden covering topics that range from companion planting, to caring for compost, to designing mini-greenhouses, to crafting delicious meals from the garden and local producers. I also hold various community programs throughout the year including Family Cooking Nights, and visits with the Bozone Ozone greenhouse bus.

I am also working on a permaculture design certification as well as a certificate in herbalism. I have a great interest in ethnobotany and spend much of my time enjoying the outdoors becoming educated on wild plants and their uses to humans.
