Profile Biography
Hi, My name is Ramadha and I am an Assistant Professor in Statistics at Western Washington University, Bellingham, WA. I moved to Bellingham from Ohio after I graduated in 2017. I was born and raised in Sri Lanka (a south asian country) and moved to USA for my graduate studies after pursuing my Bachelors from Sri Lanka. I am a first-generation college student so I had less resources to work with when I started out college back home. Currently, I teach Statistics to undergraduate and graduate students.

In my free time, I like to read, go for walks, run, workout, watch tv, play video games and during summer I do lot of hiking. I would like to connect and encourage the youth (especially girls and minorities) to pursue their education and career in Statistics as there are numerous opportunities in this field. I have had so many ups and downs to be who I am today, and I hope that my experience could help someone out there to dream big and achieve those dreams.
