Profile Biography
I hail from the great country of Texas. Just kidding!!
A native-ish Houstonian, I like to think of myself as a big family/city gal who enjoys socializing and engaging in outdoor activities. I'm the kind of person who needs only a backpack of items to survive an adventure trip :)
As a kid, Beakman's World and National Geographic captured my imagination and inspired me to pursue studies in the sciences. The classes got tougher in high school but I was lucky to meet and have good mentors guide me in working hard. I did well enough to be motivated to explore chemistry and biology in college.
My advice to girls of all ages is to first and foremost have fun while learning anything. Studying should not be a task but an enjoyable experience despite the frustrations associated with mastering new things. I look forward to working with you on that :)
