Profile Biography
I am a 26-year-old technology evangelist focusing on the area of accessible technology for the blind and visually impaired. I went blind at the age of 14 and found that the computer technology upon which I relied as a sighted person was no longer accessible to me. My experience as a subject matter expert in blindness and technology, as well as my advocacy work for blind people in computing, especially in computer science education, has led me to opportunities with the White House as part of President Obama's Champions of Change program, as well as with the CSforALL organization as part of the Accessibility Pledge committee.
