I am originally from Chesapeake, Virginia, and am currently working at DuPont in their Water & Protection business in Richmond, Virginia. I got my BS in Chemical Engineering at Virginia Tech and my PhD in Chemical Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin. In Texas, I worked for 6 years in a research lab designing and characterizing polymers (a fancy word for plastics) for energy efficient gas separations. Since 2020, I have worked in R&D at DuPont as a Product and Process Development Engineer by innovating and improving the Tyvek® manufacturing process.
