Melanie Isenbarger, Planetarium Show Specialist, is a Ball State graduate with a bachelor's degree in astronomy. She shares her love of astronomy with guests of all ages, presenting planetarium programs to school classes, community groups, and the public. As a member of the International Planetarium Society and the Great Lakes Planetarium Association, she collaborates with other planetarians on ways to make visiting the planetarium an engaging and meaningful experience. Her most recent work includes the creation of the interactive ArcGIS StoryMap, Connecting Generations of Planetariums, which works to strengthen the connection between communities and planetariums.

Outside of work, she greatly enjoys playing the drums and tending to her houseplant collection and garden.
