Profile Biography
I earned a B.S in chemical engineering from the University of California, San Diego where I was exposed to cutting edge research in nanotechnology. This experience gave me the opportunity to advance the field by contributing to two papers that have been published in top peer reviewed journals.

Post degree I was afforded the chance to work at Surface Optics Corporation, an optics company with a space flight heritage. It is here where I gained hands on knowledge of vacuum processes to implement quality control, program PID automatic deposition controllers from both an operation and analytical standpoint. My technical writing and research experience lead to SBIR, STTR, and BAA grant writing.

My thin film design experience includes interference coatings, thermal control coatings, protected silver and aluminum reflectors with tailored spectral qualities, and spectrally tailored paint.
