Profile Biography
As someone who always had an interest in science (especially the animal sciences) I went to the University of Denver in preVet. I really enjoyed the protein (biochem) sciences and ended up with a degree in biochemistry and molecular biology. In graduate school I realized I had a passion for education and switched from my science program to a program in education. As a classroom teacher in rural South Dakota I worked hard to make science interesting and fun which led to my current position where I share the unique and wonderful aspects of science that occur at Sanford Research with the community.
