Profile Biography
I am a teaching assistant professor at North Carolina State University. From 2008 until 2011 I was a network research engineer at the Next Generation Computing Systems at IBM Research

I received my Ph.D. in Computer Science from the North Carolina State University (NCSU) in August 2005, my masters in Computer Networking in August 2002 also at NCSU and my BS in Electrical Engineering and Minor in Applied Mathematics from Kettering University in 1999.

I think women are very much needed in STEM related jobs! Women engineers, scientists, researchers, leaders come up with innovative and creative ideas to solve the problems of our world today. Students that choose to study a STEM related field today will be solving mankind's future challenges and will help make our world a better place!

I am also a mama of three wonderful little people. So it is possible to have a career and raise a family.
