I am currently a postdoctoral fellow in the Department of Molecular Virology & Microbiology at Baylor College of Medicine. My research focuses on virus interactions in the gastrointestinal tract and understanding the process of infection and disease.
Before pursuing my PhD in physiology, I spent two years in outdoor education engaging students in STEM and environmental protection.

I am passionate about research, science outreach, and creating a more inclusive, supportive environment and culture in science.
