Kim McKitish, PE, is the Structural Department Manager with York, Pennsylvania-based NuTec Design Associates, Inc. A licensed professional engineer, her area of expertise is in the design, repair, and reuse of manufacturing and industrial buildings. She has experience designing with various structural materials including steel, concrete, and wood. Kim obtained both a Bachelor and Master of Architectural Engineering from The Pennsylvania State University, with a minor in Engineering Mechanics, focused on Forensics and Non-Destructive Testing Methods. Kim has presented locally at her office, at the local chapter of Pennsylvania Society of Professional Engineers, and at the Penn State Women in Engineering Program Yearly Conference. She has also presented nationally at conferences including the National Council of Structural Engineers Associates Summit and the National Society of Professional Engineers Conference.
