Profile Biography
Growth and comfort do not coexist. --- Ginni Rometty
Currently, I serve as the Application & Process Manager for the Network Emergency Management Preparedness & Readiness team. Here I am responsible for providing process improvements through IT automation. In this role, I analyze the end to end process for opportunities to remove repetitive tasks within the disaster recovery protocols. I maintain and organize the team web tools and applications including the SharePoint site, Team Website, and other various web applications. I joined AT&T in 2012 as an intern in the MATREX college hire program and later, joined the Network Operations organization through the Technology Development Program, formerly known as NETREX.
I am a Georgia native but love to travel and experience new cultures, foods and activities. An active member of the community, I have had the opportunity to serve on two non-profit boards. Recently, I was recognized for my community service participation when I was presented with the Presidential Volunteer Award in 2013. Prior to joining AT&T, I attended Georgia State University where I earned her Bachelor’s degree in Computer Information Systems. I have a passion for technology & finance and love to help others grow & develop.
In my personal life, I am the proud owner of two beautiful dogs. In my free time, I like to read, dance, and enjoy new adventures. I am an advocate for total body health, which includes physical, mental and emotional/spiritual wellness.
My advice for young ladies is that by being goal-oriented, ambitious and intelligent there is no challenge that you cannot overcome. Live life passionately and find the area that you can make a difference. Many times we gravitate to a certain subject or area because we are passionate about it. Using that passion will set you apart from anyone else and understanding how unique you are should encourage you to continue because if you do not make the difference; who will?
In every challenge lies an opportunity.
