Karagh Brummond has a PhD in neuroscience and is currently an Instructional Professor at the University of Wyoming where she teaches science classes and directs the outreach and engagement program for her University's science initiative. As the director, Karagh works with undergraduate and graduate students to travel the state of Wyoming bring hands-on interactive science activities to youth and community members in rural communities. Karagh has experience working with youth and telling her STEM journey to rural students to excite them about science. Her PhD research focused on how the brains learns to vocally communicate and can speak to a wide range of neuroscience issues in addition to her experiences in STEM outreach.
