Profile Biography
I am a psychology professor and I study how media and technology impact all of us, including children and adolescents. I love trying to understand why we do the things we do and how our changing world is changing us. I got my PhD in School Psychology when I was 25 and have spent the past seventeen years working with children and families. I also have a family of my own, including three daughters. I organize a GROW with STEM program for middle school girls every year that introduces girls in grades 6-8 to careers in STEM and gives them the chance to meet female university faculty and university and high school students who love STEM areas. I believe that girls can change the world, and it's my goal to support all girls in developing their talents to do just that.
