Elavarasi Manogaran

Elavarasi Manogaran is an advocate of inclusive and equitable Computer Science (CS) education, working to close the gender gap and stereotypes associated with learning CS and working in STEM. She is a curriculum developer who has recently developed an inclusive and culturally responsive CS curriculum which will be shortly rolled out in the government platform, reaching thousands of under-privileged students in India. Elavarasi is a CS alumni from the National University of Singapore and the University of Edinburgh, UK. She set out into the computing education space with a vision to empower all students to think computationally and solve problems with technology, whether they are from the backwoods or at the crossroads of deciding who they want to be.
