Profile Biography
I am a Planetary Scientist at NASA Headquarters. I earned my B.S. in Biological Sciences at Stanford University and my Ph.D. in Earth and Planetary Sciences at the University of California at Santa Cruz, where I studied water ice cloud formation under Martian conditions, performing both modeling and laboratory work. While working at NASA, I have supported NASA CoLab, a pilot project to increase NASA’s collaboration with the public including the vibrant Silicon Valley, and the NASA Lunar Science Institute (now the Solar System Exploration Virtual Institute, SSERVI), supporting collaborative technologies, burgeoning (at the time) social media efforts, and international partnerships.

I began detailing at NASA Headquarters in the Fall of 2018, before being hired by Headquarters in the fall of 2021. At Headquarters, I lead the largest research program in the Planetary Science Division, Solar System Workings. I also support the amazing rotorcraft lander mission to Titan, Dragonfly, as the Deputy Program Scientist. I am also currently Deputy Program Scientist for the New Frontiers program within the Planetary Science Division.
