Profile Biography
I graduated in 2004 from the University of Kentucky with a degree in Chemical Engineering. While in college I co-oped with DuPont in Parkersburg, WV every other semester. Upon graduation I worked for Ralcorp Holdings Inc completing a one year training program to be a Production Manager. During this time I spent most of the year at a Ralston Foods plant in Lancaster, OH, but I also spent 12 weeks at a Bremner plant in Princeton, KY completing a special project.

After the training program was over I transferred to Lexington, KY to work for Smucker's at the Jif plant. I started out at the Jif plant as a Plant Engineer. After a year I was promoted to a Packaging Area Manager where I managed 1/2 of the Packaging associates (about 40 people), lead quality for the department, completed packaging engineering projects, and lead continous improvement, root cause analysis, and troubleshooting in the department. I stayed with Jif for about 4 years.

In 2008, I moved to Louisville, KY to become the Global Manufacturing Engineer for D.D. Williamson. D.D. Williamson specializes in natural and caramel coloring. In this role I collected and analyzed data for all 8 of the national and international plants and assisted all of the plants with capital projects. In 2009, the company was growing at such a fast rate that the company decided to hire engineers at each of the continents. I moved into a North American Manufacturing Engineer role where I complete capital projects for both of our North American plants, lead continous improvement, safety, and environmental programs, run the plant when the plant manager is out of the office, and troubleshoot production issues. In 2011, in addition to my manufacturing engineering responsibilities, I was also promoted to the Maintenance Manager where I was given management responsibility for the maintenance budget, maintenance associates, and preventative maintenance system.
