Mrs. Paul's professional mission is to advocate for learners by providing an enriched learning environment, which empowers others to maximize academic potential through the use of effective strategies. Education pursued Cherryl from a very young age as she knew it was her ticket out of poverty. She will never forget how several high performing teachers made a positive difference in her life. Mrs. Paul's experience with leading students and staff in diverse school/community settings gives her valuable insights when leading change initiatives and continuous improvement strategies. Evidence of the success of her leadership is found in increases in student achievement as well as a clearly defined purposeful community that led to being recognized as an "A+ School of Excellence". She has irrefutable data supporting the increase in student achievement and staff efficacy as well. Mrs. Paul was named 2011 Administrator of the Year by the Arizona Technology in Education Association and 2011 DVUSD Administrator of the Year. Her work speaks volumes regarding her integrity, ethics and success at all levels. Currently, she is Director for Improvement Systems.
