Profile Biography
My name is Cassandra and I am an undergrad student at Wasington State University. There, I am getting my bachelor's in Environmental Science with a minor in Biology. I currently work at Pacific Northwest National Laboratory as a Science Undergraduate Laboratory Internship intern. I assist in my mentor's research on the ice nucleation efficiency of dust particles coated with sulfuric acid and understanding how anthroprogenic emmisions impact the formation of ice clouds in the atmosphere.

When I graduated high school, I decided I wanted to start out at a community college because I would accumulate less debt. The school I went to was Columbia Basin College in Pasco, WA and I recieved my Associates of Science in 2012. From there, I transferred to WSU's Tri-Cities branch campus where I am currently at now. I will graduate in May 2014. I plan on attending graduate school after graduation but my path is still to be decided.

Outside of work and school, I like traveling and hiking. I also PC game occasionally and I love cats. I'm also an artist. My medium includes acryllic, clay and graphite.

If I was to offer up some advice it would be this: Find out what interests you and go for it. Don't let people tell you that you can't. Get involved and explore your options.
