Profile Biography
My job is to understand how we see. In particular, I'm very interested in understanding how our eye movements impact how we see the world. I'm currently working with virtual reality to create environments that feel very real. I have a special tool called an eye tracker that allows me to measure where you are looking in these virtual environments. By measuring eye movements in these virtual reality worlds, we can start to answer questions about how our eye movements shape our experience with the world. Answering these questions means my days are filled with writing code and analyzing data which is a lot of fun! This all has led to amazing experiences working with other really smart people and has allowed me to live all over the world.
