Profile Biography
I am the FAA Alaskan Region Aviation and Space Education Coordinator. I have been a private pilot since 1991. I have a Master’s Degree from Fordham University and am a member of the Ninety-Nines International Organization of Women Pilots, and the Civil Air Patrol. I have 20+ years teaching experience in a variety of settings. I enjoy showing students that they too can soar!

This past Spring we took a trip to Tanzania and have adopted an orphanage, Moyo Wa Haruma in Geita. We hope to spend several months there sharing our expertise with our new "grandchildren" who are eager to learn and have so little.

I am passionate about aviation education and the need to bring young people, especially girls, into science, technology, engineering and math. Our future workforce and our national security depend on engaging youth.
