Allison Wright is a Nondestructive Inspection (NDI) Engineer for NDT Solutions. Previously she worked as an NDI Engineer in Research and Development at Spirit AeroSystems in Wichita, KS. Allison has a degree in Aerospace Engineering and a minor in Nondestructive Inspection from Iowa State University in Ames, IA. She has a Masters of Science in Operations Management from Friends University in Wichita, KS. Allison has held several leadership positions with the Society of Women Engineers in both their Wichita section and the Santa Clara Valley section. Allison received the Distinguished New Engineer Award from the Society of Women Engineers in 2016.
Allison has a passion for STEM Outreach and is deeply involved in her community through a variety of activities, especially Society of Women Engineers and Girl Scouts. Her efforts are inspired by her passion for engineering and for developing that passion in the next generation of students. Allison lives with her husband, Alex, their son, Henry, and their two cats in Union City, CA. When she’s not volunteering, she enjoys being outdoors, reading, baking, and decorating (and eating) cakes!
