Latina SciGirls FabFems
FabFems is proud to partner with SciGirls on Latina SciGirls, the National Science Foundation (NSF) project awarded to Twin Cities Public Television for a three-year educational media, outreach and research initiative. Latina SciGirls and FabFems are working to prepare role models for inspiring girls in their pursuit of STEM education and careers. Latina SciGirls is six half-hour episodes of SciGirls filmed in Spanish! It will show groups of Hispanic girls and their Latina STEM mentors investigating culturally relevant science and engineering problems of interest to Hispanic communities across the U.S. You can find Latina SciGirls role models in the FabFems database.
