If you register on the FabFems national directory of women in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) professions, request additional information about FabFems, or participate in any of the other services on the FabFems website that require personal information, we may request your name, e-mail address, mailing address, year of birth, career information, and telephone number in order enter your details into the database or to respond to your request. The EdLab Group, who manages FabFems, may collect and store the information you choose to provide to us to send you information about FabFems or to facilitate your inclusion in the FabFems directory.
Information collected in the directory is requested to meet project goals and each field is identified as published or non-published in accordance with database filtering and searching needs.
The FabFems website may contain links to other third-party sites, and these sites may not follow the same privacy practices as FabFems. They may also send their own Cookies to your computer to collect data and make use of it in ways that FabFems does not. When you access a third-party website, you do so at your own risk. FabFems is not responsible for the privacy practices or personal data used at these linked sites.
FabFems also collects the following (non-identifying) information: the Internet domain and IP addresses from which you access the website; the type of browser you use; the type of operating system you use; the date and time of your visit; and the pages you access. FabFems uses this information in reports to funders for grant purposes.
